About



Mimi's passion for fitness and wellness began at an early age with a background in figure skating and dance. Her excitement about Pilates began over fifteen years ago when she stepped into her first mat class. Experiencing firsthand how Pilates can heal and prevent injury inspired her to achieve her Comprehensive Pilates (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and High Barrel) certification through the Kane School of Core Integration in NYC. Mimi is an Afaa Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Fitness Coach with over a decade teaching experience in multiple formats such at Body Sculpting, Boot Camp, and TRX Resistance Training.

CPR/AED certified - Fully Insured.

Mimi is also an accomplished Tribal Belly Dance performer and instructor and continues to conduct workshops across Europe and the United States. In 2011 she released the DVD “Tribal Revival” on the World Dance New York label to an international audience. She is the Founder and Director of the Manhattan Tribal Belly Dance Company, and the co-producer of NEATS Camp, a dance and drumming retreat held annually in Cold Spring NY.

Individually tailored instruction includes Pilates machines (top of the line Reformers, Cadillac and Chairs) and mat work in a private setting. Movement with attention to form and technique creates challenging workouts to meet your fitness and well being goals. Great for clients new to Pilates, just beginning a fitness routine, and those rehabilitating injuries.

Complimentary use of facility cardio equipment and sauna included when booking a session.

Split a session with 1-2 friends. Small group training is a great way to build your Pilates practice – enjoy the benefits of specialized attention combined with the motivation of being part of a team. Includes Reformer, Chair, and Mat choreography.

Enjoy the convenience of working out in your home or office. Includes Mat Pilates with the use of specialized props to add fun, variety and challenge to your practice. Small group training is also available in home.
